Resident Evil 7 New Trailer Welcomes Players “Home”

Whether you love it or hate it, Capcom has a new teaser trailer out for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The new trailer dubbed “Welcome Home” teases a mysterious door in an old room. The forth coming Resident evil game, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, is set to launch in North America and Europe on January 24th, and in Japan on January 26th.

The latest iteration in the Resident Evil series comes the seventh installment that takes a huge step back from overdone action like in Resident Evil 6. The latest game is a lot more slower compared to said game and focuses more on horror elements.

The trailer doesn’t last long at all and showcases the familiar splash screen scene in other Resident Evil 7 trailers that features a child standing outside an old dilapidated house.

Teasing a mysterious door contained within the structure of a house that players will be uncovering when the game debuts, the narrator in the trailer welcomes players “home”.

If you want, you can check out the new video trailer below that also features the music from RE1:R.

In case you haven’t seen any gameplay pertaining to Resident Evil 7, there is a demo playthrough showing what the game has to offer eager fans that can’t wait to play the game. The video comes in by GameplayOnly, which only covers games without talking over them — meaning there is no commentary.

Running well over 10 minutes, the video contains the “true ending” and follows the protagonist searching for an escape route. You can watch the video below.

The game is only two weeks away from releasing to the general public to consume and is slated to launch across PS4, Xbox One and PC. The initial release date for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is set for January 24th in North America and Europe and January 26th in Japan.
