Dark Souls 3 “The Ringed City” DLC To Launch March 28th

Are you ready to weep yet again to another set of ridiculous bosses in the realm of Dark Souls 3? Well, if you are planning to stay up all night trying to beat another difficult boss, Bandai Namco and From Software will bring you “The Ringed City” DLC that will stand as this title’s last downloadable content. Dark Souls 3 is currently out now for PC (via Steam), PS4 and Xbox One.

It’s a sad and yet happy time for Dark Souls fans, the reason for it being a sad time is that The Ringed City is the last DLC for Dark Souls 3; while it’s a good time for fans in that there is more things to do in the brutal realm that From Software cooked up.

In addition to the DLC, Bandai Namco also posted up the official description and video trailer, which both cover all sorts of new things players will be discovering come March 28th.

To be honest I’m actually looking forward to this DLC, because Dark Souls always hides stuff around various places and strives to spark the keen eye fans of the series with Easter eggs and other valuables in-game content by searching, exploring and challenging formidable opponents that others would avoid due to their sheer skill and power.

But enough of me rambling, you can read the description below.

At the close of the Age of Fire, as the world ends and all lands converge upon themselves, a lone adventurer descends into the madness of the earth and uncovers the secrets of the past. As players make their way to the fabled Ringed City they will encounter ancient beasts, a new cast of characters teetering on the edge of insanity, new armor, weapons, magic, and at the bottom of it all, a long lost city filled with new horrors for players to overcome. Experience the epic final chapter of a dark world that could only be created by the mind of Hidetaka Miyazaki.

As noted above, the new video trailer for The Ringed city sits below. The video runs for one minute and 37 seconds and comes in by Bandai Namco Entertainment America.

It’s worth noting that Bandai Namco will release Dark Souls 3: The Fire Fades Edition on April 21st for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, which includes the game itself, the Ashes of Ariandel DLC and the new DLC The Ringed City. The latter, though, is set to release across said platforms on March 28th.
