WWE 2K17 Mods Improve AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Chris Jericho

There’s a collection of mods being made available for the recently released PC version of WWE 2K17. The mods add high definition textures to the wrestling superstars, as well as improves some other elements of how they look during the presentation of the game.

German modder JulianBITW released a collection of mods for WWE 2K17 that you can grab from the Smacktalks Download Page.

The mods feature things like Chris Jericho in his black scarf, the bearded and scruffy-haired version of Dean Ambrose, as well as AJ Styles in his new Elimination Chamber attire. You can see what Styles looks like with the video below.

In addition to Styles receiving some mod loving, another super popular wrestler, Seth “Freaking” Rollins, has also received some upgrades. You can check him out below.

Sami Zayn was also on the receiving end of some modifications as well.

There’s a quick intro video showing Zayn making his way to the ring in the modded version of WWE 2K17.

It still bothers me that Yukes didn’t add the crowd singing alongside Zayn’s music the way they usually do in real life.

Part of what makes Zayn’s entrance so special is that the crowd really gets into his theme, and it creates this electric atmosphere rivaled only by the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode.

The mods for WWE 2K17 are already coming in hot and heavy, and more are expected to drop now that the game is available in full force on PC.

Some Steam gamers have reported issues with crashing in the title, so that’s definitely something you’ll need to consider before diving in. However, many gamers are hoping that 2K will allow Yukes to patch up the title to ensure it works as intended.

WWE 2K17 is available right now for $49.99 over on the Steam store.
