Well, fans of Resident Evil 7 will be getting free DLC that will bring Chris Redfield to the game. Capcom announced that Redfield will be coming to the game through free DLC entitled “Not A Hero”. Resident Evil 7 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Catching wind from GameRant, the publication site covered some interesting news in that Chris Redfield will be coming to Resident Evil 7 via free DLC. Although I’m not for DLC in most cases, I think that everybody can agree that free DLC for a game never hurts — except for stuff that adds SJW garbage in the mix.
I know a lot of fans are wondering when the DLC is due to drop? Well, according to the site the DLC is set to drop sometime this Spring; Spring is set to start on March 20th. So that’s about a month from now we could see the free DLC dropping anytime from then on.
The site got this info regarding Redfield from Resident Evil’s main Twitter account. The tweet holds screenshots of Redfield, which can be seen below.

The story in the DLC will be different and will follow a short-like scenario unlike Ethan’s long and harrowing tribulation. Redfield’s story is completed with the main story of Resident Evil 7, and we learn that there will be a mysterious side to the DLC with the devs noting:
“Who or what is he chasing? Find out soon in this separate story.”
I’m sure a lot of people who like said character will enjoy his appearance in the free DLC, especially seeing that the devs are bringing a familiar face to a brand new focus in the RE or the Biohazard series.
Before signing out, I know I’m taking a guess here, but is Capcom saying that Chris Redfield is “Not A Hero” because of this?
