A new space shooter is set to come out next month dubbed as Starway Fleet. The game sees players taking control of a spaceship and battling various fleets out in the far depths of outer space. The game is being published and developed by StormCube Games and is set to release for PC via Steam Early Access sometime during May.

If you are into space shooters and taking on galactic fleets that hail from different regions of space, I think Starway Fleet might be a title worth checking into… I mean, assuming if space battleships are your thing. The official description sits below for you to look over.

“Experience the heat of space combat and discover the Universe as a fighter pilot assigned to the fleet. Be the famous fighter ace, let the whole Universe know your name!”

The game is said to contain a variety of missions and mission types. This means that players will be able to take part in special operations like interception and reconnaissance, provide fighter cover for important cargo ships or help rescue a crew of disabled ships. I’m not sure how different each map and mission type will play out from the next, but hopefully there are some major differences that call for skill when proceeding through each mission/stage.

Those who like to play online or offline will be able to enjoy a quick mission in the single player mode or chaotic battles that invite more than one player through multiplayer support. Players can either contend against enemy AI units or friends and randoms in different game modes.
