Gundam and mecha fans looking to play Gundam Versus in the West can rejoice! Due to an update that Bandai Namco released, Gundam Versus will be playable in Japan for PS4 on July 6th, and will head over to the West sometime this Fall for PS4.
That’s correct, Gundam Versus will be heading Westward to North America and Europe for PS4 come this Fall. This information comes in by bandainamcoent.eu explaining quite a bit of info regarding the upcoming action/fighting title.
“World famous giant robot series and notorious head to head arcade smash hit, Gundam Versus, is coming to Americas for the first time, this time built from the ground up exclusively for PlayStation 4! Featuring Mobile Suits from all across the series history and brand new features exclusive to the home console release, fans finally have a chance to take 2 vs 2 combat to the next level!”
The title is set to feature 2 Vs. 2 and 3 Vs. 3 team battles, and well over 90 playable mecha from across the works of 17 different games and shows of Gundam. Screenshots and artwork also joins the fold of information regarding Gundam Versus.
In addition to the above, Bamco has revealed some new key artwork for Gundam Versus, which consist of Hot Scramble, Altron, Gundam Epyon, Crossbone X1 Kai, Crossbone X2 Kai and Crossbone X3 Kai. You can check out the screenshots below.
