XSeed Games and Nihon Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky The 3rd has made the leap from the PSP and PS3 to the PC. A decade removed from its original outing as an old-school throwback to the JRPG classics of the yesteryears, XSeed and Marvelous decided to re-release Trails in the Sky the 3rd for Steam gamers.
The game follows after the events that took place in Trails in the Sky Second Chapter. Players take on the role of Father Kevin Graham and Sister Ries Argent as they retrieve an ancient artifact for the Septian Church in the region of Liberl.
Things don’t quite go as planned, and an all new adventure involving danger, intrigue and betrayal takes place.

For fans of the classic JRPGs with pudgy little character sprites set against 3D backdrops – a common visual trait during the 32-bit era on the PSX – you’ll definitely enjoy the visual look and thematic elements and presentation of Trails In The Sky The 3rd.
Nihon Falcom also promised a more personal story this time around, giving gamers a more engaging adventure that unfolds.
A lot of the user reviews note that the localization of the game was done right proper, and all the necessary bits were translated properly.
It’s good to know that a lot of gamers are fine with the translation and that the localization was actually done right instead of being a butchered mess like the typical Treehouse outings for games like Fire Emblem: Fates or Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.
Anyway, you can pick up a digital copy of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky The 3rd for $29.99 from over on the Steam store or from GOG.com.
