The official release date for Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 has been revealed with the official announcement trailer. The game is set to arrive on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch on November 14th, 2017.
Prior to the full trailer going live Lego Group and TT Games released a teaser trailer featuring Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy, but the full trailer gives gamers a look at many of the different heroes and villains they’ll be encountering throughout the game.
We see World War Hulk, Thor, Star-Lord, Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Doc Oct, Seductress, Loki, Ms. Marvel, and a host of others. You can check out the full trailer reveal below.

Attaching the Switch box art to the end of the trailer seems to indicate that they have a lot of faith in Nintendo’s game console. Then again, the attachment rates for quality games on the Switch are fairly high, with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild having a record breaking 102% attachment rate.
This isn’t to say that all third-party games are going to sell like hotcakes on the Nintendo Switch, but Marvel, Warner Bros., and Lego seem to be showing signs of having faith.
Anyway, the trailer itself is all cinematic. There’s nothing there in terms of actual in-game play. It’s just a reveal trailer to get people riled up and excited. Expect the typical Lego fanfare when Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 finally drops this November for home consoles and PC.
Expect to see actual gameplay revealed at some point during E3, or at least shortly thereafter if not during the actual event.
