The Evil Within 2 seems to have been revealed ahead of its official E3 presentation through an ad banner. The listing of the ad reads “Bethesda returns you to the nightmare in The Evil Within 2. Now available for preorder. How will you survive?”. The game is currently slated to release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Catching wind from publication site Gematsu who posted up the following image that shows the listing for The Evil Within 2, we learn that the game rumored to be revealed sometime later tonight (as of this writing), will continue the nightmare according to the text below.

If you cannot read the screenshot that the site posted containing the text supposedly revealing The Evil Within 2, you can read over the text below:

“Bethesda returns you to the nightmare in The Evil Within 2. Now available for preorder. How will you survive?”

The publication site noted that a Reddit advertisement leaked ahead of the announcement. To make sure that the whole thing was not a joke the site went to the website that was said to contain the ad and refreshed the page multiple times and confirmed that the ad indeed was visible.

In addition to the above, yet another ad popped up revealing a second announcement for The Evil Within 2 that reads:

“From survival horror mastermind Shinji Mikami comes The Evil Within 2. Now available for preorder. ‘The only way out is in.’”

Yup, the only way out is to go in. Additionally, upon clicking the advertisement it leads folks to theevilwithin.com. However, I should note that the above information has not been confirmed by either Bethesda or Tango Gameworks, meaning that when the official announcement rolls up some things may be different according the official announcement.

If the ad banner leak is true expect The Evil Within 2 to be announced at Bethesda Softwork’s E3 2017 press conference sometime around 9:00 P.M. PDT / midnight EDT, but if its not then we will need to wait for the publisher or devs to clarify the situation.
