Bandai Namco has released a batch of new screenshots detailing Dragon Ball FighterZ that tag along with new info by V-Jump magazine and Weekly Shonen Jump. The latest information covers Piccolo, Krilin and covers online and replay features too.
Catching wind from publication site Shonengamez, they do a superb job of translating the magazine screenshots, and we learn that Bandai Namco has a new update detailing Dragon Ball FighterZ, where the screenshots show some of the new content that you can check out below.
Piccolo
Piccolo is noted to be one of the most technical fighters on the roster, especially with his ability to stretch his arm and grab opponents. Players will be able to charge up for a powerful attack by holding down the attack button, alternatively Piccolo can use his Ki blast from afar to create a huge blast. Sporting a wide variety of moves that can connect with other deadly combos, Piccolo can use Hellzone Grenade in the game and Light Grenades at mid-range.
Krilin
Krilin has poor reach and power but easily compensates that with confusing skill and long-range attacks. Krilin’s ability to use the Kamehameha keeps opponents away, which can be linked into a mirror image of himself to get away from aggressive opponents. Additionally, the mirror evade can be used as an attack to keep opponents at bay. Other noteworthy things regarding Krilin includes the famous Senzu Bean that can heal himself and teammates, and his Destructo Disc that cannot be blocked and can be multiplied upon pressing the button repeatedly.
Online, Replay and Closed Beta
According to Bandai Namco, Online Battles of Dragon Ball FighterZ will allow players to interact with other users in the FighterZ lobby. It is also noted that the online feature includes a communication system named Z-Stamp, prompting players to use facial expression from Dragon Ball characters and watch their match with the Replay mode.
As for the Closed Beta, it is said that the nine playable characters will be Goku, Vegeta, Teen Gohan, Cell, Frieza, Majin Buu, Future Trunks, Piccolo, and Krilin. Sign-ups for the Beta will start on July 26th
Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to launch for PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime early 2018.
