Cuphead is an upcoming 2D hand-drawn platformer. The developer, Studio MDHR, recently opened up to fans about Cuphead’s pricing and what it will be on release. Cuphead is set to debut for PC and Xbox One on September 29th.

Before jumping into the pricing for the upcoming 1930-esque platformer that is better known as Cuphead, if you happen to be new and are looking for a basic synopsis on what Cuphead has to offer, the game sees two cuphead-like figures making a deal with the devil and having to pay the price upfront.

The run-and-gun action game is said to be focused on boss battles, which those battles are accompanied by familiar 2D side-scrolling minion action. According to various Cuphead gamplay footage, a world map is present that leads to the 2D stage segments that is often followed by boss battles and shops.

Players have the option to assume Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local-co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, obtain new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while trying to pay your debt back.

With all of that said, how much does the above amount to in currency? is a $59.99 price point worth it? What about $29.99? Well, none of the above is a fitting price according to Studio MDHR. The dev team feels that the following price of $19.99 that Twitter user Lee TSimba received when inquiring about Cuphead’s price is much more fitting.

Yes, that is correct, the game will run around $19.99 when it hits the market for gamers to consume. However, it’s worth noting that the price could change in the near future, but seeing that the game is only a month away from releasing, the short wait will tell everything that fans of Cuphead need to know.
