Crashday: Redline Edition Arrives On Steam With Track Editor, Improved Multiplayer

Stunt-park racing game, Crashday: Redline Edition is currently available on Steam for PC. The game is available right now for only $11.99, but during the first week of being on sale, you can get it for 20% off for only $9.59.

Moonbyte and 2tainment released the new game along with a new launch trailer featuring some of the new and improved visuals, and revamped gameplay, all fine tuned for today’s generation of gamer.

The trailer is chock full of explosive content. You can see how the improved visuals, special effects and higher resolution helps give the game a bit more oomph and weight to the overall presentation.

Physics-wise, don’t expect Gran Turismo in a game like Crashday Redline Edition. The game is strictly designed for gamers who enjoy white-knuckle racing with an arcade-tilt to the grip.

According to 2tainment’s managing director, Stefan Weyl, they worked with the Crashday community in order to refine and improve the game where it most needed help, mentioning in the press release…

“We’re thrilled to work with Moonbyte Games and incorporate the invaluable feedback of still-active players to bring back this beloved classic. Crashday: Redline Edition is a tribute to the fans and we can’t wait for them to experience this true indie thrill ride!”

The full game supports all new power-ups, a damage system, a heavy-metal soundtrack, seven different game modes, a career mode with single-events and multiplayer options, and all new refined online lobbies designed with Steamworks integration for matchmaking, voice-chat and more.

If the stunt races, bomb modes, classic races, or hold the flag events aren’t your cup of tea, you can actually design your own events by using the track editor to put together custom-made tracks using more than 150 different building blocks.
