Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom won’t be hitting PC and/or PS4 anytime soon, due to a recent delay announcement. Nevertheless, there is good news in that Bandai Namco has a new trailer up for RPG fans to look over that comes in part of Gamescom 2017.
Without wasting any time, the new trailer that Bandai Namco posted up showing Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom for Gamescom 2017 can be seen below.
The trailer above, if you haven’t noticed already, focuses on Roland — a president from Ichi no Kuni. The trailer also shows Roland transported to Ni no Kuni, who eventually befriends Evan Pettywhisker, the deposed king of Ding Dong Dell. In other words, parts of the trailer stand to be a recap of previously announced information.
Looking over to new content the trailer reveals, two new characters are introduced and brought forth: Nerea, the “beautiful queen” of the land of Thalassea, and Leander, her advisor.
Furthermore, I know the delay has some fans disappointed that the game will not release until early next year or 2018, but I expect it is for the best given that the game will offer quite a bit when it comes to exploration and story… so we hope.
The real question behind the long wait is will Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom RPG and gameplay elements be something to remember or will it be a drag while playing? Hopefully it’s the former, because I’m really looking forward to this game in all honesty.
As of now, and while we wait, more information can be found on Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom by heading on over to bandainamcoent.com, which holds the latest information on said game as well as the option to pre-order it.
Finally, Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is still in development as we speak, but it will release across PC and PS4 on January 19th, 2018.
