Westminster Darkly Strategy Game Has Gamers Saving The U.K. From Grooming Gangs, Thugs

The United Kingdom is lost. The real one. Thugs, violent migrants, useless coppers, rising knife crimes, and unfettered grooming gangs have turned the ones rich European nation into a hell-hole for degenerates and filth. Well, Studio Incorrect is giving gamers a chance to clean up Westminster by taking control of the neighborhood after a solar storm disabled all electronics in the area, and it’s called Westminster Darkly.

You’ll be in charge of overseeing the stability and security of Westminster while attempting to restore some semblance of peace and order. However, savage thugs, amoral grooming gangs, and acid-wielding migrants all stand in your way.

The city sim combines exploration and events with turn-based combat. You can get an idea of what the gameplay is like with the Let’s Play video below, courtesy of Ivica Milarić.

As you can see from the video, you will manage the three hero characters as they attempt to dismantle the ruling gangs that have taken over since the outage.

Aesthetically the game is extremely simplified. Each unit is represented by just a head, and the map is basically a satellite overhead shot of Westminster.

Majority of the thrill from Westminster Darkly comes from the story and the character development, which is thankfully elevated by a small measure thanks to the voice acting.

It would have been awesome if we had a game like this but with the budgetary resources from games like Firaxis’ XCOM, a series that rapidly went down the drain as they focused on ruining their studio with diversity hires and forcing you to play as characters that only appeal to the mentally deranged land-whales that occupy San Francisco.

In any case, if you were interested in playing Westminster Darkly, you can check out the game over on the Steam store, where it’s currently available for $11.99.

This is definitely a game aimed at the last few patriots in the U.K.
