Ubisoft is set to release Far Cry 5 at the end of this month, however the devs are showing off what the game has to offer both in base form and what each DLC and map editor aims to bring to the table.
Over on ubisoft.com we learn that all Far Cry 5 players will gain access to Far Cry Arcade and the map editor. The arcade mode offers assets from previous Far Cry titles as well as other Ubisoft games like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Unity, and Watch Dogs.
It’s worth noting that Far Cry 5 Season Pass owners on PS4 and Xbox One will gain single-player content from Far Cry 3 with Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, which is granted to Season Pass holders four weeks ahead of its standalone release this summer.
As for PC players and what is to hit said platform, the full version of Far Cry 3 will come out at a later date following the launch of Far Cry 5.
Furthermore, folks who purchase the Season Pass or Far Cry 5 Gold Edition will be able to play the following content:
Hours of Darkness – Players will travel back in time to Vietnam to battle against Việt Cộng soldiers and save their fellow soldiers.
Dead Living Zombies – Players will team up with friends to fight waves of zombies across seven different scenarios cooked up by a b-movie director.
Lost on Mars – Players will leave Earth behind to go toe-to-claws with martian arachnids to save Earth from an alien invasion.
