The past rumors were right about Activision and Tryarch concocting a brand new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 game for 2018. Activision has posted on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 teaser trailer, which reveals an upcoming community event and launch date.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been revealed by publisher Activision and developer Tryarch, and with the forthcoming game’s big reveal, there are also some tidbits of info that have surfaced, such as the platform release, a community reveal event, and the official launch date.

Curious gamers and fans of Call of Duty or the Black Ops series can see what is currently in store by watching the official teaser trailer below.

The above teaser video quickly runs through various segments of older installments in the series of Black Ops, but its done through the scope or vision of four bars.

The video ends with what might be the upcoming game’s slogan “Forget What You Know.” Contrary to the presumed slogan, it is known that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will have an official community event that kicks off on May 17th, 2018.

In addition to Black Ops 4’s May event comes that of an official launch date. The first-person shooter will hit PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and will debut officially on October 12th, 2018.
