Cliff Empire, City Building Sim Set To Hit Early Access On April 26th

Looking for a new city building sim with unique aesthetics in a post-nuclear world? Well, publisher and developer Lion’s Shade seek to release a PC game titled Cliff Empire this month on April 26th that gives you all the post-apocalyptic civilization rebuilding and management that you can handle.

The latest game to come out this month under the strategy and simulation genre comes a visually interesting project called Cliff Empire. If you can hold out for the next two weeks, then you’ll be able to experience building cities on the cliff’s edge in a futuristic-like world:

“After a nuclear war life on the surface became impossible. A 300m thick radioactive fog covered the Earth. We are looking for bold active people to manage the process of restoring life on Earth. Join!”

The official trailer discovering this city simulator in action can be thoroughly looked over right here, which doubles over as a gameplay and visual trailer.

Right now, a few quality of life touches are being made to the Early Access game, Cliff Empire, which improves the UI, localization, and other important aspects before it becomes available for public consumption.

As for features, the game focuses on economics of several independent cities where trading between them and the orbital station is very important. In other words, trading resources to build up multiple cities will help you out drastically.

Looking over to the weather side of things, Cliff Empire offers a dynamic climate change that will not only stand as a visual signal for rain and snow, but it will also test the strength of your cities’ economies.

Last but not least, there will be 35 additional university research programs to improve the city structure, 29 structures for constructing cities, 11 different goods for trade and consumption, and a possible mode to switch between the 3D view and the orthographic camera — as well as a free camera for walking around the city.
