Nine Parchments Demo Available For Download On Nintendo Switch

Frozenbyte announced that Nine Parchments, their upcoming action-oriented co-op RPG is still going through the certification phase for the Nintendo Switch, but Frozenbyte wanted to give gamers a vertical slice for what’s to come by launching a free demo.

According to Frozenbyte CEO, Lauri Hyvärinen, it was mentioned in the press release…

“The full game is still in the submission process so we wanted to get demo in front of players to make the wait a little bit easier. We hope you enjoy trying out the magic mayhem!”

“We’ll announce the exact launch date of Nine Parchments once the game has passed certification on all console platforms”.

Originally the game was due for release this holiday season for the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. That announcement came back during the PAX West event at the end of the summer. They seemed pretty confident about getting the game up and out for home consoles and PC, but things didn’t quite work out that way, which is a common trait in the world of game development.

Nevertheless, if you were interested in Nine Parchments, you can check out the gameplay trailer below to get an idea of what the demo is like for the Nintendo Switch.

The trailer gives gamers a look at some of the absolutely hectic, but fast-paced gameplay from Nine Parchments, as players will traverse through a series of fantasy-oriented environments as they battle against magical forces.

The game is about some would-be wizards who end up unleashing chaos and are tasked with fixing the mess they bring upon the world.

Much like other Frozenbyte titles, Nine Parchments is designed to be played with friends or family as a co-op title, much like the Trine series.

As mentioned, there’s no release date set for the game right now but you can play the demo by downloading it from over on the Nintendo eShop, which you can easily access from the Nintendo Switch’s home menu.
