Post Scriptum is a product of indie developers Periscope Games and Offworld Industries, the ones who published and developed the 50 Vs. 50 FPS game, Squad. The new game in development has a new video showing off gameplay through an internal test, which is accompanied by a buffet of pre-order news.
If you are into WW2 FPS simulators or games solely about the second world war mixed with PvP elements, there’s a chance that you might like indie team Periscope Games’ Post Scriptum. The FPS sim is currently in an early state, aiming to bring a difficult learning curve and an intense need for cohesion, communication, and teamwork.
You can check out the new internal test video by Periscope Games, as seen below.
If all of the above seems fun to you, news broke today that you can play Post Scriptum early, but only if you pre-order the game. If you don’t want to do any of the above but wish to play Post Scriptum early or for free, all Squad pre-Steam launch Founders and Backers will have the opportunity to redeem one Post Scriptum key per active Squad key for free. The program will start in the mid-to-late part of April, as explained below:
“To show our appreciation for the contributions all of you have made, we would like to offer all pre-Steam launch Founders and Backers the opportunity to redeem one Post Scriptum key per active Squad key for free beginning in mid to late April. This applies to all 15,000 dedicated supporters — from the multipack Rangers and clans to the single key Backers. That means if you received two keys as part of your Squad backer tier, you will receive two Post Scriptum keys!
In addition to full access to the final game release, recipients will also be invited to participate in pre-release weekend testing beginning in May. (Official date to be announced by Periscope Studios.)”
