Dark Souls Remastered Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Folks who are interested in Dark Souls will be able to jump back in with the upcoming Dark Souls Remastered edition. Nintendo Switch fans looking to delve into the dark side of things will find a later debut date compared to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. However, to ease the wait time, Bandai Namco released a new gameplay trailer showing off Dark Souls Remastered.

The new gameplay trailer showing Dark Souls Remastered in action is accompanied by the following description. You can view the two right here:

“Book passage to Lordran and traverse the limits of adventure. From the top of the highest tower to the most obscure depths of the earth, this quest holds dangers and marvels beyond human understanding.”

Besides the new Dark Souls Remastered gameplay trailer, we learn that Bandai Namco has opened digital pre-orders for the game through the PlayStation Store and Xbox Games Store. In other words, if you’re into pre-ordering games now is your chance.

Furthermore, Bandai Namco also announced that folks who own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition on Steam will receive a 50 percent discount towards their purchase of Dark Souls Remastered for PC. This discount will bring Dark Souls Remastered initial price point of $39.99 down to $19.99.

In addition to the above, starting on May 8th at 4:00 P.M. PT, the Steam version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition will be removed. On May 25th Dark Souls Remastered will take its place.

Something worth noting is that folks who currently own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition will be able to play or download the game from their Steam library after its absence.

Finally, the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of Dark Souls Remastered are still set to launch late next month on May 25th. Dark Souls Remastered for the Switch will debut later.
