EA, DICE, and DICE LA’s upcoming Battlefield 2018 has been “leaked” and rumored to be Battlefield Bad Company 3. This will supposedly make this title the next entry to the hit Battlefield Bad Company 2 that launched for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on March 2nd, 2010.
Notice: The following information has no validity behind it, despite the insider having been right with his first leak. There is no telling whether or not the following information is spot on or not, in other words, take this information with a grain of salt.
Firstly, the “leaker” is AlmightyDaq. He’s the one who predicted that Battlefield 2016 would be named Battlefield 1, the game would feature a new game mode called War Pigeon, maneuvers like bayonet charges would be in the game, stages like Amiens would show up, tanks would be able to self repair, and other things like Elite Classes being introduced.
You can watch his accurate description of Battlefield 1 before the game was announced or revealed by EA and DICE, which ends around the five minute and 30 second mark:
Next up comes his latest “insider leak” that notes Battlefield 2018 will be called Battlefield Bad Company 3. The game will feature loot-boxes and microtransactions, but it sounds like EA, DICE and DICE LA are re-working it after what had happened to Star Wars Battlefront 2.
The game will be set around an alternate and not accurate Vietnam and Cold War setting. Conquest will be in the game, as well as Rush and the new Operations mode. TDM and Domination will be in the game, too, but maps will be smaller and less gigantic in scale.
Weapon customization will be on par with Battlefield 4, meaning that there will be an over-saturation of weapons and customization. These weapons will fit between 1950 on up to 1970, and could possibly include other weapons from outside that time period.
You can watch the new video below.
This falls in line with the US_Veteran_3p_Handflare model file that showed up in an older DICE LA video at the 0:59 mark, but it’s still worth taking it with a grain of salt when looking the following image over.
If the older job listings are anything to go by, the game will be made for PC and the latest consoles, and will be revealed at E3 2018, while debuting sometime later in 2018.
