Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom will not hit its previously scheduled release date of January 19th, 2018. In a new video and note attached to it comes the announcement of a new delayed date of March 23rd, 2018. Bandai Namco and Level-5 are set to drop Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom for PC via Steam and PS4.

Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom has been delayed once again. Hopefully this move by Bandai Namco and Level-5 will not only polish the game up to be something quite noteworthy at launch, but will ease up the congestion of other titles set to debut at the beginning part of 2018.

This delay could bring more to Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom as a whole, which the delay is further explained through a note attached to a new trailer:

“Ni no Kuni fans,

 

“We are committed to delivering the highest levels of quality and innovation in each of our titles. The development of Ni no Kuni II is coming along very nicely and we can’t wait to share this new adventure with you. However, with that innovation and quality comes the need to ensure everything works together in a fun and cohesive way, this means we’ll need a bit more time to make sure the entire Ni no Kuni II experience meets our highest quality standards. So today, we would like to ask for everyone’s patience as we move Ni no Kuni II’s worldwide release date to March 23, 2018. On behalf of everyone at Bandai Namco, we want to thank you all for your patience and continued support. In the meantime, check out this all-new trailer featuring the Japanese voice-over cast of the game. Ni no Kuni II will feature dual audio tracks (English and Japanese).”

The new game as mentioned in the note will sport dual audio, meaning that you can play the game with Japanese VA and English subs, or however you’d like to play Revenant Kingdom.

On the topic of VA or VO, the new trailer showing the delay date also features the voice actors behind the characters  in Ni No Kuni 2. The video runs for four minutes, but if you want to see that much more of the upcoming RPG you can watch the video trailer by Bandai Namco here:

Hopefully there won’t be another delay, but most importantly the game should be a fun experience when it does become available. Sadly, we won’t know if Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be a fun game until the next four months roll around.
