Electronic Arts And BioWare Reveal Anthem’s PC Requirements

The game Anthem that has people not only skeptical of how it will perform at launch due to how the publisher and developer handled things in the past and as of recent has its official PC specs posted. Yes, if you want to know how much RAM and space you need to run the upcoming looter-shooter, you now have a place to do just that.

If you dare to buy or play Anthem — the game from the much dubious Electronic Arts and BioWare — do know the game that has some input from controversial and stirring culture critic Anita Sarkeesian, will debut on February 22nd, 2019.

Well, ahead of the official release of the game there is a VIP demo that will go live for those who fell for the pre-order scam… I mean promotion. This demo will go live on January 25th and ends on 27th, 2019.

If you want to see how the game performs and handles without giving EA and BioWare a dime, although if you are on PC you must download Origin, you can access an open demo of Anthem on February 1st all the way to February 3rd, 2019.

This now brings this piece to the PC specs that EA and BioWare released on ea.com. Both the minimum and recommended specs can be viewed in order, with the minimum specs coming in as the former:

Minimum Specs:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760, AMD Radeon 7970 / R9280X
  • GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
  • HARD DRIVE: At least 50 GB of free space
  • DIRECTX: DirectX 11

And like clockwork, the recommended PC specs can be seen too:

Recommended Specs:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB System Memory
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060/ RTX 2060, AMD RX 480
  • GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory
  • HARD DRIVE: At least 50 GB of free space
  • DIRECTX: DirectX 11

Personally speaking, I don’t have high hopes for this game. However, if you do, you can play the open demo across PC, PS4, and Xbox One to get a feel before making a pre-purchase or a buy come February 22nd.
