Far Cry 5 New Trailer And Gameplay Demo Explore The Resistance And Hope County

Ubisoft has partnered with the PlayStation Underground to show off 26 minutes of Far Cry 5 gameplay. The devs also released a new trailer showing the Resistance against the cult of Hope County. Far Cry 5 is set to debut across PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 27th, 2018.

Far Cry 5 has a new gameplay video showing more in-game footage. Following that video comes a new trailer exploring the Resistance and what happens when the player helps them consecutively.

In addition to the first video, it details that of helping the eager people around and about Montana in Hope County, which will increase a bar to attract more Resistance fighters. Upon doing this frequently will cause a backlash of aggressive cult members that will try to re-take an area that was lost.

The trailed dubbed as “The Resistance” lies below, and runs for one minute and 35 seconds.

The second video comes in courtesy of PlayStation Underground. The video features Far Cry creative director Dan Hay, who comments and details various stuff nestled in the land of Montana — more specifically Hope County.

The video below covers how conversations can be interrupted by enemies or by the player, and if the latter takes place and the player walks away too fast or shoots at the NPC, the player can offend them and they may or may not dish out proper information.

On the topic of actions affecting other people for better or for worse, people will react to the player’s activities. For instance fighting alongside local allies, and the Guns & Fangs for Hire, to take back Hope County will opt for alternate side-quest and story quest to pop up.

You can watch the video by the PlayStation Underground right here.

Far Cry 5 will release a month later than previously planned by Ubisoft, which means that it will come out on March 27th for PC and home consoles.
