Landinar: Into the Void by publisher and developer Convoy Games mixes top-down, space sim, and action-adventure elements all under one roof. The indie game is currently slated to launch Q3 this year for PC via Steam Early Access.
Convoy Games are gearing up to release their single-player game Landinar: Into the Void, and if you want to know more about this game it sports a story mode, typical crafting features, space travel, and top-down on-foot gameplay.
Dubbed as an action-packed neo-noir space title, you can read Landinar’s official description below:
An action-packed neo-noir space adventure. You play as a captain down on his luck. Build your spaceship and join the rebellion to liberate the quadrant!
If liberating the quadrant as a rebellion sounds like fun, the official teaser trailer showing in-game footage of Landinar can be looked over thanks to Convoy Games.
In Landinar, you play as an unfortunate Captain with more enemies than friends, who has a knack for getting in trouble. After an unlucky run-in with the galactic law, he decides it’s time for a change.
The mix-up sees the Captian having to deal with people, take on contracts, fight enemies, collect new tech, build spaceships and join the rebellion to liberate a backwater quadrant held down by the Imperial law.
As for features, you can seamlessly walk around on various ships and stations scaled appropriately, and fly out into space. Other features consist of crafting and ship construction, which can be done by gathering parts and hull templates to design and build your own ship(s).
In addition to features, you can fully traverse the quadrant and go to different systems to find new people, hidden tech, and dangerous enemies. You can also decide where you want to go, who you want to work for, and how to complete certain objectives.
