Call Of Duty: WW2 Resistance DLC Launches January 30th

Michael Condrey, the co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, took center stage in the new six minute video detailing the next entry in the Call of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies saga (which ironically doesn’t actually contain Nazis) and the three multiplayer maps that will be fleshing out the PvP side of things.

The theme of the DLC is based around the Resistance, as indicated by the title. This means new European resistance-themed characters and locations. The first map is called Valkyrie, and it’s set in Prussia. The map is based around the same bunker location where betrayers of the Reich attempted to assassinate Hitler. You can see what the map looks like in the trailer below.

The second map is set in the city of Prague of occupied Czech Republic, and it’s called Anthropoid. It’s themed around tight street alleyways and corridors leading out to a few main streets.

The last of the new maps is Occupation, which is set in Paris, France.

A new War Mode has been added as well, where players have to rescue some resistance fighters, capture a few map points, and then lead an assault on the enemies.

The last of the new maps is the Nazi Zombies map, where the theme around the map is that a fog sets in and it becomes difficult to see the zombies.

How well this will actually play out in the map remains to be seen, given that it can either become annoying or actually make it scary.

Additionally, Sledgehammer will be adding a new zombie to the map.

I’ve never been a fan of Call of Duty, and the only one that really tickled my fancy was Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

You can look for the new Resistance DLC to launch on January 30th, 2018 for PS4 first and then at some undisclosed time for the Xbox One and PC.
