M.A.S.S. Builder Update Shows Off Hovering Weapons And Enemy Spawns

Publisher and developer Vermillion Digital has their sights set on releasing M.A.S.S. Builder, a mecha game, sometime during the first quarter of 2019 for PC. In an attempt to quench mecha fans’ thirst during the long wait time, the devs released two short videos showing off hovering weapons and enemy spawns.

If you missed out on the mecha game’s crowdfunding campaign trailer, you can catch up on all things M.A.S.S. Builder right here thanks to Vermillion Digital.

A portion of the game can be looked over thanks to a couple of GIFs that show off an abandoned base, a look at the movement system, lock-on UI, gunplay, and the heat-seeking missile launcher.

If the fast-paced nature of M.A.S.S. Builder’s core seems like a lot of fun to you, it’s because it’s built with anime-mecha fans in mind.  Additionally, it looks like the main mecha you’ll be controlling will have to work extra hard, because enemies can spawn right out of the ground. This means that these dark forces can easily surround a target with ease and make your life very, very difficult.

Overall, M.A.S.S. Builder is under development as we speak and only a handful of devs are working on the game. With that said, the game is looking pretty nifty just to be an indie project.

The mecha game, as of right now, is slated to drop sometime during the early part of 2019. Six months ago back in 2017, there was little information about M.A.S.S. Builder on its debut, but that seems to have changed. The team posted up that M.A.S.S. Builder will launch on PC during Q1 2019.

No word on whether or not Vermillion Digital will support a home console version (PS4 and Xbox One) in the future, but the team did make mention that M.A.S.S. Builder will sport single-player, multiplayer, and co-op play.
