Remember when Santa Monica Studio and Game Informer struck up a deal to give gamers additional information throughout the month of January about God of War? Well, a new 102 question interview has brought forth info about side-quests, unlockable costumes and more.
Whatever your feelings happen to be about the upcoming God of War game, for a fact we know that Santa Monica Studio and God of War director, Cory Barlog, are planning to give gamers information through publication site Game Informer all this month.
In addition to the above, God of War is the cover story for Game Informer’s February issue, which leads to the latest interview below, and more info on the game.
Barlog is asked over 100 questions in this new video in which some of the questions are about God of War, while some aren’t. Other questions remain unanswered, such as if Kratos will have access to his Greek weapons in the upcoming game.
What is known so far is that the 102 question rapid fire interview shines light on side-quests and unlockable costumes briefly. Features such as double-jumping will be excluded from this God of war, game as explained below:
During the late part of 2017 we heard from Barlog that, allegedly, the game will take players somewhere between 25-30 hours to complete. In the above video he also suggests that the chance of beating the game in 2 hours might not be doable, but feels that someone might be able to do so.
The real question is, will this God of War game be loaded up with in-game cutscenes to stretch out the length of “gameplay” to artificially reach 25-30 hours or will it actually have loads of content to play through?
As it stands now, the PS4 exclusive game is set to release “when it’s done” according to Balrog, but it’s expected to arrive during the first quarter of this year.
