343 Industries hasn’t been on the favorable side of fans who adore the green space marine known as Master Chief or Spartan 117. The story of Halo 5: Guardians only garnered befuddlement and fluster from the audience, despite having a solid multiplayer mode. However a new Halo 6 rumor has surfaced and has some fans excited.
Notice: The following information in regards to Halo 6 has not been confirmed by 343 Industries or Microsoft. This rumor supposedly about Halo 6 is just a rumor and shouldn’t be taken as fact.
It’s been repeated by Bonnie Ross, general manager and studio head of 343 Industries, that no substantial news about Halo 6 would appear during the year 2017, although progress is said to be going well, it’s not ready to be announced yet.

Besides those factual evidence in regards to Halo 6 confirmed by the studio head of 343 Industries, the next part comes in as a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Across Halo Waypoint many threads have popped up talking about a new rumor that has been circulating, which publication site GameRant shined light on recently. The publication site cites video game leaker “Klobrille” as a credible person, due to an accurate prediction of Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference.
This Klobrille has rumored that Halo 6 will have a “really high player count”. There’s no telling what this high player count is in relations to; will it be for various multiplayer modes like TDM or CTF? The single-player mode? Or Warzone?
Halo 6 multiplayer will obviously be the thing to carry it into the coming years and keep players coming back for more if done right, and if more people can play it only means that more will likely stick around… if it’s done right.
Sadly, only time will tell if this rumor of an increased player count holds any validity. In the meantime, though, it is said by 343 Industries that Halo 6 campaign will focus on Master Chief this time around.
