Dual Gear, Turn-Based Mecha Game Will Have Multiplayer

If you happen to be a fan or backer of Dual Gear and wish to play with others, Orbital Speed Studio will have multiplayer featured in the game thanks to another stretch goal being met. Dual Gear is currently slated to release across PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime this year.

If you want to sate your eyes on something Dual Gear related, although the following video is not representative of what’s currently available in the game, you can take a look at the 2016 closed-alpha customization mecha footage right here:

As of 2018, the game is still under development and will supposedly release sometime this year. The good news is that the devs behind the game are still putting effort into it, so fans and backer should see a finished product late this year or early 2019.

We know this because of a post from Orbital Speed Studio that was published back in the early part of May, confirming that progress is being made on this very game, which you can read over right here:

As of mid-May, the team updated gamers on where they are, and it seems that multiplayer will be a thing thanks to a stretch goal being met on IndieGoGo.

Thant’s right, thanks to 35K in backing funds from community members and fans of the project, Dual Gear will see multiplayer functions either at launch or later down the road post-launch.

Sadly, the devs want to wait before detailing anything about what multiplayer features are in the pipeline for Dual Gear, so it means that news on that is on hold until progress is presentable.

With all of that said, you can look for Dual Gear to drop on PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One later in 2018. However, it wouldn’t be too shocking if this game faces a delay and releases sometime in 2019.
