Devil May Cry 5 Will Be Playable At GamesCom 2018

Gamescom 2018 is still  a ways off but it’s shaping up quite nicely. It also looks like you will be able to see a list of games broadcasted at the event via streaming services and so on, and if you attend you will be able to play demos of upcoming titles on the show floor. One of those games happens to be Capcom’s Devil May Cry 5.

Whether you are leery about a game or wish to see more of a title showcased at E3 2018, do know that the European games event known as Gamescom, set to kick-off this August, will grant you the very opportunity to either view it extensively or go hands-on.

How we know that DMC5 will make an appearance at Gamescom 2018, which comes directly from the lips of DMC5′s director, Hideaki Itsuno, during an interview he had with Inside Xbox.

Twice during the Inside Xbox interview, Itsuno brings up that Devil May Cry 5 will appear at Gamescom and will be playable, too. I’m not sure what the demo will offer up content-wise, but if you want an idea or read deeper into Itsuno’s words, the below video is up for your viewing pleasure.

Furthermore, Itsuno seems to be confident in the works put into Devil May Cry 5 in that he brought up in this interview, as brought up at E3, that he’s confident the game will exceed our expectations. However, I think a game itself should speak in that department after folks try it, though.

Anyway, what is known right now is that Devil May Cry 5 is 75 percent done and that Nero and Dante will face “their strongest foe yet.” The story will presumably focus on something “mysterious” regarding the demon world, with Nero going off to recover something he lost.

With all of that said, you can look for Devil May Cry 5 to make its debut next year in the spring of 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
