Something that the trailer does enforce despite missing actual gameplay clips is that the single-player story campaign will offer a “visceral” and “dramatic” experience.

In an attempt to push boundaries, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is said to break rules the way only “Modern Warfare” can that rustled the jimmies of game journos not too long ago — like everyone’s favorite writer Dean Takahashi.

On the topic of the first-person shooter’s story, players will engage in covert operations alongside a “diverse cast of international characters” that are either special forces or freedom fighters. This spans throughout familiar European cities and volatile expanses of the Middle East.

If you aren’t into single-player games and fancy multiplayer titles instead, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare allows you to thrust yourself into the “ultimate online playground” with classic multiplayer modes, or squad-up and play cooperatively in a collection of elite operations.

With all of that said, the upcoming FPS title is nearing its release date for public consumption, which will launch this year and this month on October 25th for PC and home consoles.
