Tetris Effect:
Tetris is one of the classic puzzle games that almost everyone has tried their hand at some time. It’s tough to find new ways to make Tetris attractive. Still, the game itself is so entertaining that it doesn’t need anything new to pique the attention of existing players and encourage them to sit down and play the game or any of its numerous variants. The Tetris Effect, on the other hand, came as a bit of a surprise.
This game was initially intended to be a virtual reality (VR) product that provided users with an immersive environment to play Tetris while listening to music. The puzzles in this game are some of the best you’ll find today, especially if you have a PSVR headset.
The Turning Test:
Ava Turing is assigned to look into the disappearance of a crew on a moon. Nothing seems right, and Ava must use all of her wits to find out what’s going on. Players are equipped with an energy-absorbing pistol that they may use to transfer energy to various destinations. This will provide access to new places surrounding the station, although navigating these new areas will be challenging. Additionally, you’ll need to utilize several monitoring devices to keep tabs on different parts of the station, such as when and where energy should be stored.
The Wolf Among Us:
In addition to The Walking Dead, we have The Wolf Among Us from Telltale Games. Telltale Games’ new incarnation has only released the first season of this game so far, but we already know there will be a sequel. Most of the game takes place in the human world as a group of fairy-tale characters who have fled their homeworld.
The people in this story cannot be killed off by conventional means, but they do their best to maintain a low profile so that they don’t draw undue attention to themselves or their community. Bigby, previously known as the Big Bad Wolf, is the protagonist of the game. When a beloved fairy tale character is assassinated, Bigby goes on the hunt for the killer. There are some environmental riddles to be solved here along the route, much as in The Walking Dead.
The Last Guardian:
In 2007, director Fumito Ueda, who had previously worked on blockbuster games like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus for Sony, began producing The Last Guardian. Last Guardian arrived in 2016 and let you play as a young kid who meets a huge legendary beast while trying to find your way out of an evil realm filled with dangerous situations. To escape, players must utilize both the little kid and crying out to the massive beast as the two grow closer with a new connection of camaraderie together.
A Way Out:
Josef Fares created Hazelight Studios, the studio behind A Way Out. This is a game that has gone viral due to its focus on cooperative gaming for two players. This game would be impossible to complete without the assistance of a second player. Players took on the role of a criminal who decides to escape and do some unfinished business, but we won’t give away any further details.
As previously said, this is a cooperative game in which players must work together to create various diversions or perform challenging moves. The importance of timing and communication cannot be overstated, but since the whole game is split into two screens, you will always be able to see what your secondary opponent is doing.
