Bethesda managed to patch and fix a bunch of the glitches and exploits in Fallout 4 with their latest patch 1.4 for home consoles and PC. However, not every glitch was patched, and not every exploit was fixed. Some gamers still managed to find an unlimited caps glitch to make themselves infinitely richer in Fallout 4 even after patch 1.4 was released.

YouTuber PmHD put together a four-and-a-half-minute video featuring the latest patch notes for Fallout 4, covering which glitches have been patched and which ones have not. Sadly, for those who want to manipulate the workshop duplication glitch, it has been patched. But, the unlimited caps glitch has not. You can check out the video below.

So after covering which glitches don’t work, PmHD covers the glitches that do still work after Fallout 4 patch 1.4 dropped for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

He first goes over the chemistry station XP glitch, which is possible with a few simple button presses. If you don’t remember it involves hovering over an item and pressing ‘A’ and ‘B’ together (or Square and Circle on the PS4 controller) and it will ask you if you want to make an item, simply press ‘Yes’ to rinse and repeat to gain unlimited XP. You’ll be able to use this to boost your XP.

As for the unlimited caps glitch that PmHD was talking about, you need to get the mission from Honest Dan by heading to the location where there’s a series of sewage drain pipes. Head inside the tunnel with the door and you should find Honest Dan inside. You’ll need to accept the Human Error quest.

After you complete most of the Human Error quest, you’ll be presented with the option to accept or reject the offer from the doctor. Select to “Reject The Offer”. You’ll also need to free the girl and then talk to Honest Dan again. It’s explained in detail in an older video from PS4 Trophies.

Make sure you save the game before you talk to Honest Dan after you reject the offer. There will be an option that will appear when you talk to him near the end of the mission that says “We Make A Good Team”. Select it.

The second set of dialogue options will appear; when the second set of options appear DO NOT choose anything. Instead, back away from Honest Dan and wait for the options to disappear. Proceed to move back closer to Honest Dan and initiate a conversation with him. Select the “We Make A Good Team” option once more. When the second set of dialogue options appear, DO NOT select anything… just back away.

Every time you rinse and repeat this you’ll earn 300 bottle caps every 10 to 15 seconds. Just keep on rinsing and repeating this process to make unlimited cash.

Fallout 4’s latest patch is available right now for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. If you’re on PC you can just use console commands to get rich, but if you’re on Xbox One or PS4 you can use the above exploit to make infinite amounts of money.
