Koei Tecmo and Omega Force latest project, Berserk, has gotten yet another update. This time not by the Weekly Famitsu, but by the actual devs. These screenshots not only reveal Zodd but also the transformation system in the game. Berserk is set to come out for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita over in Japan, and PC via Steam, PS4 and PS Vita for the West.
A couple of days ago, the Weekly Famitsu released some information regarding the upcoming Berserk game detailing some interesting stuff. However, today, we get a better look at the content in a nice batch of screenshots.
Koei Tecmo updated the official website to reflect the features that will be in the game. We now know that Nosferatu Zodd will be a playable character as well as Guts, who will be able to access his Berserker Armor — which is a nice additive.
Looking over to the new info — although most Berserk fans already know this — Nosferatu Zodd is an Apostle who has roamed the battlefields for hundreds of years in search of powerful opponents. He shows interest in Guts’ capabilities, who wounded him, and leaves him an ominous prophecy.
Peering to the transformation that will be in the game, appearances and attack performance will greatly change, as well as attack speeds. Attacks will gain better chances of obliterating enemies into a pile of blood and gore, while others possess the capabilities of blowing them out of sight.
Although the info isn’t anything spectacularly new, it does raise one question, will Skull Knight be playable? While we wait for the devs to reveal the answer, you can check out the new batch of screenshots below.
Those looking forward to Koei Tecmo and Omega Force’s Berserk, the game is set to come out for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita over in Japan, and PC, PS4 and PS Vita for the West.
