Fallout 4 Mods Bring New Survival Mode, Quests, Weapons And TNR Light

There are four new mods for Fallout 4 that will change your experience with the post-apocalyptic RPG shooter. The first mod offers a new survival mode, while the second mod brings a brand new quest with voices and lots to discover. The third and fourth mods bring new weapons and the TNR shoulder lamp from the movie Aliens. Bethesda’s Fallout 4 is out now for PS4, PC and Xbox One.

The first mod up is by modder Naugrim04, who adds the successor mod from Fallout: New Vegas to Fallout 4. This mod, FROST, aims to transform the world of Fallout 4 into a freeform survival game with a focus on lore and visual story telling.

FROST brings new enemies to fight, overhauled gameplay mechanics and many new areas to explore. You can get this mod over on NexusMods.

The mod Maxwell’s World by Trainwiz is almost similar to the mod above but has its own differences. Maxwell’s World focuses on horror elements, teaming up with other survivors, and clearing out the strange theme park.

Maxwell’s World also features multiple paths that you can discover. Each path holds resources that are either cursed or normal, opting players to manage their resources when traveling through the theme park. A trailer for the mod can be seen below thanks to Pastaspace, or you can download the mod over on NexusMods.

The next mod up is by Shoeburglar. This mod adds new Anti-Material rifles that are for taking down BoS units in the Commonwealth. Additionally, you will be able to use these rifles on standard enemies, and standard enemies also have a chance of dropping one of the Anti-Material rifles.

You can either spawn the rifles in by using console commands or by heading to vendors. A video by Vault Samurai can be seen below showing the Anti-Material rifles, or you can head on over to NexusMods to get the mod.

Based on the lamp shoulder or the TNR Shoulder Lamp from James Cameron’s Aliens, players will be able to use the mounted light source in the wasteland thanks to modder Akkalat85. The light source doesn’t do all that much to change the game, but it does act well in scenarios like below.

The video above comes in by JoshYosh. If the mod above seems like it could spice up your adventure in the wasteland you can get it over on NexusMods.

For more information on these mods and if they are compatible for consoles, you can head on over to mods.bethesda.net and use the ‘Search Bar’ to find the aforesaid.
