Nintendo has taken to its official website to reveal what it has in store for gamers come June 13-15th at E3 2017. The event plans cover the Switch and the 3DS, and other plans for activities to happen through said dates when E3 rolls around this year.
Nintendo has announced over on its official E3 portal on its main site, which can be access by hitting up e3.nintendo.com, its plans for this year and what actions will manifest on June 13th all the way to June 15th. In addition to this, the company will confirm and spotlight the most recent games to come out this year and likely in 2018 starting on June 13th at 9.00 A.M. PT / 12:00 P.M. ET, and will be accompanied by a Nintendo Treehouse live stream and tournaments during the show.
As for Nintendo’s E3 activities for Tuesday, June 13th, at 9:00 A.M. PT folks will be able to watch the Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 video presentation, which will be available to watch live over on the given web portal. The presentation is set to offer more details regarding Super Mario Odyssey and other Switch games, with a focus on games to launch this year.
Right after the Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017, Nintendo will showcase the Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 that is set to reveal a live-stream showcase of upcoming games for the Switch and 3DS. Gameplay for all featured games will be streamed from the E3 show floor on June 13th to June 15th over on the company’s official site, YouTube channel and Twitch page. The livestream will include behind-the-scenes info and commentary from game developers and members of the Nintendo Treehouse.
Furthermore, Nintendo’s booth space opens at noon on June 13th, early show participants are said to be some of the first people in the entire world to get their hands on Super Mario Odyssey, as well as other games for the Switch on said date.
The last piece of information regarding the Big N’s appearance at E3 2017 includes a set of tournaments that will be livestreamed from the show floor at the convention. The 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational will show up on June 13th and features Splatoon 2 for the Switch. Composed of four pre-qualified squid squads from Australia, Europe, Japan, New Zealand and the U.S., the tournament will test who is the best squad and who will emerge victorious. The second tournament, the 2017 Arms Open Invitational, takes place on June 14th and will feature Nintendo’s upcoming Arms fighting game for the Switch.
