Do you enjoy zombie games? Do you feel that they’re not worn out? Okay, if so, Publisher Mad Dog and developer Saber Interactive plan on releasing World War Z for PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in 2019.
During E3 2018 light was shed on World War Z’s gameplay, offering uninterested people or fans of the game a look at what has been cooked up so far. However, while the number of zombies shown in-game were talked about quite often, absent was World War Z’s release date.
In addition to the above, the CEO of Saber Interactive hinted that the team planned to ship World War Z “next year,” but as of recent one of the devs revealed the game’s release window during a recent conversation on social media that contradicts its former 2018 release.
On Facebook, a certain user by the name of Mohrmann asked about World War Z’s release date and received an answer from a dev that it’s set for 2019. This was also reinforced when another user by the name of Anthoney asked the same thing, to which the dev reiterated the same release window.
As for gameplay features, World War Z will sport four-player co-op, three episodes with three chapters in each one, four playable characters to pick from, 25 weapons to wield, a list of different classes with skill-trees to upgrade, up to 500 and more enemies on screen at once, and a PVP mode involving zombies.
If you’re looking for yet another zombie game to indulge in sporting co-op mechanics, you now know that World War Z is currently in development for PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
