In a virtue-signaling blog post that has nothing to do with your gaming culture, Microsoft announced that they are aiming to reduce their carbon emissions and start a program to make the Xbox game consoles carbon neutral.
Over on the Microsoft blog, they pat the back of an organization filled with rapists – the United Nations – coming off the heels of the United Nation’s Climate Summit.
The completely pointless position of the chief environmental officer is occupied at Microsoft by Lucas Joppa, who explained that they have more ambitious targets than the Paris Accord, in order to acquire their certified SBTi.
Majority of the blog is completely pointless, but five paragraphs in they finally talk about something related to gaming, but it still doesn’t change anything in your life. Joppa explains…
“Going from carbon neutral operations to carbon neutral products: Microsoft’s business operations have operated carbon neutral since 2012. Today we are beginning the journey of extending that to our products and devices with a pilot to make 825,000 Xbox consoles carbon neutral. These are the first gaming consoles to be carbon neutral. While just a pilot, we’re already looking at what we can do to further reduce and neutralize carbon across devices in the future.”
As anyone with common sense will tell you, the Earth’s climate changing is happening whether humans attempt to do anything about it or not. Inconveniencing ourselves to make life more accommodating for the elites is just another boot on the throat of the proletariat.
That’s not to mention that companies like Microsoft and Sony aligning with the United Nations should leave people sick to their stomachs.
The United Nations has a long history of raping kids, yet people are turning a blind eye to say “that doesn’t concern me.” Well, neither does a mega-corporations carbon emissions. You really want to be proactive? How about you not purchase products from these companies and let them go bankrupt.
You really want to do something about emissions? How about you tell Microsoft, Sony and the rest of the virtue signalers to put pressure on India and China to reduce pollution? I mean, you do know that China produces more carbon dioxide than the U.S., and U.K., combined… right? You didn’t know that? Well, you can read up on it over on Forbes.
You also want to reduce pollution? How about you convince the virtue signalers on the West coast to go after Qatar, Kuwait or the United Arab Emirates? Oh, you didn’t know that those mid-east countries produced the most pollution per capita? Well, you can read up on it over on World Atlas.
And just to circle back around to the point about the United Nations raping kids… if you’re okay with Sony partnering with U.N., despite their sordid history (and recent abuse allegations, cover-ups and corruptions), then you would also be okay with Sony or Microsoft partnering with Bill Cosby’s Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation… right?
