Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 launched large and broken for PC gamers a year after making its debut on the consumer market for the PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version of the game is also ripe with its own series of cheats thanks to tables, engines, and trainers. If you were interested in manipulating the game in ways that Rockstar didn’t intend (and I’m sure they’ll have a patch out soon enough to correct this if enough players indulge in cheating their way through Red Dead Redemption 2) there are some cheat tools available.
The first trainer is available for free from over on WeMod.com.
The trainer contains the following Red Dead Redemption 2 cheats:
Now there are a few people who noted that the game crashes on them if they attempt to use the trainer at the very start of the game.
One user waited until after completing a couple of the tutorial-style missions before activating the trainer. After doing so he found that the cheats worked just fine.
So if you have trouble with using the WeMod trainer, just complete some of the beginning missions first, get to a save point, and then exit and re-enter the game with the trainer enabled to see if the cheats work at that point.
The second cheat trainer is available from over on MegaDev.info.
The trainer features the following cheat options for Red Dead Redemption 2:
Now the MegaDev trainer comes in both free and premium formats. The free version of the trainer allows you to make use of the cheat to access infinite amounts of ammo, so you can fire and forget and never have to think about how much you fire again.
Unfortunately, if you want to make use of all the other snazzy cheat options, you will need a premium membership.
There’s another premium trainer available for download from over on Cheat Happens.
The cheats contained within the Red Dead Redemption 2 trainer are listed below:
Typically, since the trainer requires a premium membership, the cheats are a bit more robust than what you might find in some of the free options, such as the ability to modify the time of day or edit the inventory count of items you’ve collected.
I’m sure more cheats will be made available as Red Dead Redemption 2 saturates itself within the PC ecosystem, especially after December when the game finally debuts on Steam.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on Rockstar’s launcher and the Epic Game Store. He launches on PC for real in December.
