The only chart where Call of Duty: Modern Warfare or FIFA 20 don’t dominate the ranks is the Famitsu sales chart. However, a game just as controversial as the two, Pokémon Sword and Shield, is topping the list in physical sales for the week ending December 22nd, 2019.
While Pokémon Sword and Shield made headlines for all the wrong reasons before launch, it looks like the game that’s no stranger to raising eyebrows is topping the Famitsu chart.
Website gematsu.com translated the top ten list of games (and then some) for gamers to look over. Although the list is heavily dominated by the Switch and PS4, the games on said consoles consist of Pokémon Sword / Pokémon Shield, the ever-vigilant Luigi’s Mansion 3, Ring Fit Adventure, Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Minecraft, Tsuri Spirits, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Maker 2, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Super Mario Party.
