Yakuza Remastered Collection And Dreams Can’t Dethrone FIFA 20 On The UK Charts

It looks like Yakuza Remastered Collection and Dreams can’t dethrone the giant that is Electronic Arts’ FIFA 20 from the top spot in the UK charts. Yes, the infamous futball game is still holding the top after many months of reigning supreme.

If it’s not Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at the top, you can bet that the number one game on the UK charts is FIFA 20. And as no surprise, FIFA 20 is holding the top spot once again with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare right behind it in second place.

Despite the Yakuza Remastered Collection and Dreams being new entries on the UK charts, the two weren’t enough to dethrone the annual sports game. Coming in third and eighth respectively, Yakuza Remastered Collection and Dreams don’t hold a candle to the microtransactions laden FIFA game.

According to website gamesindustry.biz, we learn what fills in the gaps between the top three and what comes before and after Dreams. With that said, here’s the full list:

  1. | 1       FIFA 20
  2. | 2       Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
  3. | New Yakuza Remastered Collection
  4. | 6       Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
  5. | 3       Grand Theft Auto V
  6. | 5       Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  7. | 7       Minecraft
  8. | New Dreams
  9. | 9       Luigi’s Mansion 3
  10. | 10     NBA 2K20

In case you have trouble reading the above list, the first number represents this week’s placement. The second number serves as last week’s placement, while “New” stands for a new entry on the list.

It amazes me that Luigi’s Mansion 3 can hold on to its positioning for this long, but what is truly baffling is GTA V beating out new games despite it launching way back in late 2013.

Anyway, there you have it, the UK charts reveal that not even new games like Darksiders Genesis (console release placing at number 11) can move FIFA 20 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — and I’m sure the same concept will apply for next week.
