For those of you that are curious as to what Sony has planned regarding the PS5 and its specs, then mark your calendars for March 18th, 2020. Additionally, Mark Cerny will head up this PS5 “deep dive” session and will detail the next-gen console’s system specs on said date.
Thanks to website newsweek.com, we learn that there’s a tweet detailing how Sony was going to use the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2020 as a place to give folks a rundown on the PS5’s specs, but due to concerns regarding the coronavirus, it has been pushed to March 18th.

The publication site also notes that you can catch a live stream on blog.us.playstation.com, which will serve as a platform to show off the system’s specs starting at 9:00 A.M. on March 18th:

Back in early January of this year, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) CEO, Jim Ryan, posted a slide detailing what the PS5 is capable of bringing to the table, which consists of the following information on the below still:
If you can’t see the above image, Sony claims that the PS5 will have 3D audio sound, haptics/adaptive triggers, an ultra-high-speed SSD, hardware-based Ray-Tracing, and “Ultra HD Blu-ray.”
Ryan also noted that Sony will offer the biggest and best in content and will deliver unique experiences to gamers with “unprecedented speed” through the PS5. This also covers new features and games to hit the next-gen console supposedly in the months ahead.
