The man known for his chiseled jaw-line that appears across many memes and kosher curly hair is also known for his quotes like “16-times the detail,” and “it just works.” This man is Todd Howard, and he will keynote the upcoming UK conference Develop:Brighton 2020.
Mr. Howard is known for his wonderful “quotes,” heck he even has a section on brainyquote.com dedicated to his outrageous remarks made during interviews and events. Well, it looks like that list will only grow bigger thanks to the upcoming July due event.
According to website developconference.com, the event will kick-off from July 14th to July 16th, 2020. With that said, Howard’s talk will be the second of the three keynote sessions at Develop:Brighton 2020, which will take place early on July 15th.
Later on the 15th, Howard will receive the “Develop Star” award at a ceremony during the event, which will take place that evening.
Thanks to the following write-up on the event’s official page, we know that Howard will be interviewed on stage to discuss his 26-year career in the games industry, Starfield, The Elder Scrolls VI, and more:
Going Nuclear – The Story of Todd Howard and Bethesda:
This year’s Develop star Award winner Todd Howard reflects on 26 years in the video game industry, from 1995’s The Terminator: Future Shock to the upcoming Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI.
During this fireside chat Todd will share some of the highs and lows of making games spanning multiple decades, platforms and genres. Starting out as a designer and producer at Bethesda in 1994, Todd rose to fame as game director for The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. The two enormously successful, critically acclaimed RPGs allowed Bethesda to expand into other development studios and publishing offices around the world.
It’s unclear how far Howard will touch on Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI at this point. I should clarify and say, will he say basic fluff, or will he actually offer some form of insight on these projects unlike before?
While we wait to find out, you can learn more about this event by paying the official website a visit.
