Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy VII Remake‘s shipment in its first three days on the market. According to the company, the game has shipped 3.5 million, which is said to be “exceptional.”

Final Fantasy VII Remake has not only shipped over 3.5 million copies in its first three days on the market, but it continues to keep moving units. This information comes from Square Enix via press.na.square-enix.com.

The above website notes that the number of copies includes shipments of PS4 physical copies as well as digital downloads.

In other words, the game within its three-day launch window managed to nearly ship 4 million copies. However, it will be interesting to see how the game will perform months later.

Speaking of Final Fantasy VII Remake‘s performance, I wonder how gamers and fans alike will react to the second part of the game and how well will it perform on the market? As of now, there’s no release date for the second part of the remake, but it’s reportedly still in development.

What is known right now is that last week, the UK sales chart went up and showcased the top three games for the week ending April 11th, 2020, in which the top three are Final Fantasy VII Remake, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
