Microsoft and CD Projekt Red are continuing their partnership, and this time, the two have revealed a new Cyberpunk 2077-themed controller and Xbox One X console. This bundle will release sometime in June of this year — months before the actual game.

Previously leaked all over the web, the forthcoming video showing off the newly converted Xbox One X sporting a Cyberpunk 2077 inspired design (not to be confused with the upcoming Holiday 2020 Xbox Series X) will come with a custom controller.

Nevertheless, the following video has garnered a noticeable amount of dislikes due to the steps to access it.

The reason for the community displaying their dissatisfaction is that there was a special Alternate Reality Game (ARG), which tasked gamers and fans alike to solve “a big mystery.” After solving a series of passcodes, players were sent a link to an unlisted video on Xbox’s official YouTube channel, as seen below:

In other words, a lot of people were expecting something special regarding the game itself, but instead were “treated” to the above content — that was leaked not too long ago.

With all of that said, the special Cyberpunk 2077 limited edition Xbox One X console features a custom casing, various artwork, custom LED lights, glow-in-the-dark lettering, and 1TB of storage space.

Much like the console’s Cyberpunk 2077 design, the controller features the art of Arasaka Corp. and other custom work.

In all honesty, it makes no sense to me why Microsoft and CD Projekt Red would agree to release a special edition of the Xbox One X along with a controller in June when the game itself releases in September? Nevertheless, it is what it is.

With that said, you can expect the above bundle to appear sometime in June of this year, while the game itself will launch across PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 17th, 2020.
