The Last Of Us: Part 2 Tops The UK Charts

The UK Charts for the week ending June 27th, 2020, has arrived and showcases the top ten games so far. Although FIFA 20 and Grand Theft Auto V are on the list, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been bumped off. Taking the place of the first-person shooter is Sony and Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us: Part 2.

Seeing a reshuffle in positioning, the UK Charts also boasts a new entry and a re-entry. Although some of the usual suspects are on the list, other titles that make the top ten aren’t on the weekly list.

For starters, The Last of Us: Part 2 has topped said chart for two weeks so far. However, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is nowhere to be found. Interestingly, several 3D games have filled some positions on the top 40 list and even made the top ten like Bravely Second: End Layer.

With that said, you can check out the latest games on the UK Charts for the week ending June 27th, 2020, courtesy of gamesindustry.biz:

As always, the first number represents last week’s placement. The second number serves as this week’s placement, while “New” stands for a new entry on the above list. Also, “Re-entry” means a title that has returned on the top ten list.

Moreover, Sony and Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us: Part 2 has reportedly broken a record when it comes to PlayStation exclusives. As per a new report on blog.playstation.com, the game filled with current year propaganda has sold over 4 million copies.

Lastly, the controversial game that has spawned Fat Geralt memes is out now for PS4.
