Ubisoft is all-in on the degenerate Social Justice Warrior culture that has ruined every aspect of our waking lives. As if being on the Traitors of America master list wasn’t enough, or if the company’s copy-and-paste clones weren’t already insufferable, they’re expected to get worse now that they have plans on “shaking up” their Editorial Group to become more “diverse”, and as they focus more on “diversity” and “inclusion” by appointing a new head over their Diversity & Inclusion division.
This stomach-turning announcement came via a post over on their official website on July 2nd, 2020.
In the post, Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot, explained that they will opening up a new division to handle allegations of harassment, discrimination, or other “inappropriate behaviors” that supposedly infringe on their Code of Fair Conduct.
They’re also overhauling the Editorial Group, as pointed out by Engadget. This is the group responsible for creative direction of their games. According to Guillemot, the overhaul is to remove “toxic behaviors”, writing…
“We are not looking for a quick fix, but rather a structural shift at Ubisoft that fully aligns with our values – values that do not tolerate toxic behaviors and where everyone feels safe to speak out. We must do everything we can to ensure no one is in these situations ever again. With this in mind, I also am putting in place a series of initiatives that will serve as a roadmap as we listen, learn, and act. I will need everyone to work together to build and implement them so that respect for others remains one of the pillars of Ubisoft’s culture. “
They have plans on starting employee listening sessions across all their locations, while also appointing a new Head of Workplace Culture. Lidwine Sauer will oversee the new Workplace Culture division, as she will create an “international and diverse multidisciplinary working group”.
The virtue signaling piece rounds out with Guillemot writing…
“In parallel, we are creating the new position of Head of Diversity and Inclusion, who will report directly to me. I am committed to improving diversity across the organization, including in all of our management teams.
“These concrete actions are just the beginning of profound changes at all levels. I am convinced that, all together, we will build a better Ubisoft for the benefit of all.”
This is in addition to the current Diversity & Inclusion division they opened up back in late 2018.
This isn’t surprising given that Ubisoft is all-in on degeneracy.
Their latest game, Hyper Scape, is filled with hideous POCkers, the exact kind of characters no sane person would ever want to play.
