Ukiyo Publishing announced that they have decided to delay Death Road To Canada after a murder-spree took place in Toronto at the hands of Alek Minassian. The Ontario native used a white van to run over multiple pedestrians, killing 10 people and injuring 15 other people, as reported by ABC News.
Paul Hann, the managing director of Ukiyo Publishing, mentioned in the press notice…
“We feel it would be deeply inappropriate to launch the game at such a time. We would like to express our deepest condolences to everyone affected by the tragic events in Toronto.”
Originally, the cross-country zombie RPG was scheduled to release on Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch on April 25th. However, it has now been postponed to a later date in light of the attacks.
The controversy has already picked up a discussion on whether or not Alek Minassian was Muslim, with Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, running diversion tactics to veer the conversation away from having Minassian labeled as a terrorist, telling reporters…
“Obviously, all Canadians continue and will continue to have questions about why this happened, what could possibly be the motives behind it.
“As was indicated last night by our public security minister, at this time we have no reason to suspect that there is any national security element to this attack, but obviously the investigations continue.”
Alex Jones believes that diversion-tactics used by establishment instruments like Trudeau are attempting to mask people from the truth of Minassian’s motives, calling Minassian an Islamic terrorist.

News organizations like Gulf News are attempting to spin the story that Minassian is a Christian-Armenian, in order to redirect the blame away from discussions about Islamic extremists.
Some of the tactics from the media to shift the discussion away from blaming Muslims for the attack partially worked, as there are people now calling out Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson for their reporting.
Alex Jones and his followers are Neanderthals.
Alek Minassian is Armenian-Canadian. This population is overwhelmingly Christian. There’s no indication that he was acting for religious reasons or is even Muslim.
Jones may not run people over but he sure is mentally unstable. https://t.co/B5h4ptfZzU

Not much could be learned about Alek Minassian from public profiles, as his LinkedIn account is mostly empty, save for info stating that he went to Seneca College as a student between 2011 and 2018.
News reports are claiming that Minassian was unstable and his neighbors said that he was odd, but they have continued to route conversation away from potential religious extremism.
No new release date has been set for Death Road To Canada, and Ukiyo Publishing is currently working on rescheduling the release for the PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
