Blizzard Vehicle Job Listing Reveals New Unannounced First-Person Game

Blizzard Entertainment as a company has published and developed quite a bit of big name titles. Some are met with disappointment while others are met with open arms. the true question behind Blizzard’s new unannounced first-person game is, will it sink before it gets out of the gate like Titan or will it swim in success like Overwatch?

The Big B has released a new job listing not too long ago looking for a “talented gameplay engineer” to help create vehicles or construct them in a new first-person game. This new project has no public name as of this moment, but the new game is currently in development.

Looking over to Blizzard’s Career section, the job opening for the “Senior Software Engineer, Gameplay, Vehicles” list the following information:

“Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented gameplay engineer to help create vehicles and build vehicle handling features in a robust first-person engine for an unannounced project. The ideal candidate has proven experience in vehicle handling, with exposure to other game systems like physics, animation, and cameras. They must have outstanding people skills and a longstanding passion for playing games across multiple genres and platforms.”

Looking the job listing over calls for the person in question to have played multiple genres and games on different platforms. This could be an indication that the game mixes genres and could hit multiple platforms, but that’s just a guess.

On the topic of guessing, don’t take the following information as fact, but some fans rumor that the new title could be on the line of an FPS game with a list of vehicles to access, but with characters and classes that resemble classic Blizzard designs.

Anyway, more information on this job listing will more than likely surface in the near future, but until then what’s your thoughts on Blizzard making a new first-person game that features vehicles?
